On the NREMT, you may be surprised to find more than one correct answer on questions throughout the entire exam. There may be situations where multiple answer...

Feel like you can’t study enough? No matter how much you study, the hours you put in, and the amount of flashcards you reviewed, do you still feel overly anxious for an exam?  Test anxiety is something that is many individuals struggle with. It’s okay to feel nervous for an exam, and it’s normal to feel stressed out. Frankly, that’s pretty common among most people.

The NREMT is already difficult and tricky, and the last thing we want you to experience are feelings of anxiety to make it more stressful than it needs to be. To help overcome your test anxiety, there are a couple things we want to break down for you.

Understand why you have test...

Simply put... you study more and retest! The NREMT allows three attempts to pass your exam, before you have to take a refresher course. After an unsuccessful attempt, you will receive an email containing feedback on your failing score. This will show what areas were above passing, near passing, and below passing. You have to wait 15 days to retest after your last examination before you can reschedule your next test. At EMTprep, we receive a lot of emails of students that do not pass their NREMT on the first round, or second round, and sometimes even their third. You decided to become an EMT professional. You went through the details of choosing what school to go to, financial aid, and picking your classes. You withstood the long class hours, the grueling sleepless nights of studying, the challenging exams, and let’s not forget, the endless cups of coffee. After all the hard work, you passed EMT school! Congratulations! You should be very proud of yourself, as are we.
