Opioids are a class of drug that acts as a depressant on the central nervous system. This works by slowing or stopping breathing in an overdose, they increase pain tolerance, decrease reaction to pain, and decrease the perception of pain. Opioids are frequently prescribed by doctors for acute pain, debilitating pain, or for chronic pain in a palliative care setting.             The pelvis is made from two bones. The bones join in the front at the symphysis pubis, and in the back with the sacrum, at the sacroiliac joints. Dementia is a condition in which the brain gradually becomes impaired over a period of time. This is not to be confused with delirium, which is a sudden onset of confusion that is treatable, reversible, and caused by physical or mental illness. Dementia causes short term memory loss, confusion, disorientation, difficulty learning, or retaining new information and changes in behavior.
