Wyoming EMS Exams Information

Wyoming EMR Exams

All EMS levels in Wyoming must pass the National Registry Cognitive and Psychomotor exam. This test is administered by Pearson VUE testing centers, in Wyoming, these are located in Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Riverton, Gillette, Rawlins, and Sheridan. To sign up for a location closest to you first sign up with the National Registry.

Requirements for Wyoming EMS Certification

EMR - Emergency Medical Responder

In Wyoming, to become an EMR you must graduate from an approved training program. The EMR must also successfully pass the National Registry exams. You must then create your account with the Wyoming Office of Emergency Medical Services provider Licensure System.

In Wyoming, to become an EMT you must graduate from an approved training program that meets or exceeds the National EMS Education Standards program or Division approved training program.
