Wisconsin EMS Exams Information

Wisconsin EMR Exams

To take the National Registry EMR cognitive and psychomotor exam, you must have the exam site coordinator's permission and must also be included on their list of participants submitted to the NREMT. Testing is done through Pearson VUE centers.

Requirements for Wisconsin EMS Certification

EMR - Emergency Medical Responder

Requirements to become an EMR in Wisconsin, you must: Have completed an approved EMR course, maintain current CPR, hold a certificate from the state of Wisconsin, be credentialed with a licensed EMR service, and follow protocols.
