Requirements for Washington EMS Certification
EMR - Emergency Medical Responder
To become an EMR in Washington you must, successfully complete a Washington State approved EMR program, pass the National Registry exams, and submit your application and license fees.

EMT - Emergency Medical Technician
To become an EMT in Washington you must, successfully complete a Washington State approved EMT program, pass the National Registry exams, and submit your application and license fees.
