EMR - Emergency Medical Responder

To become an EMR in Kansas you must be: 18 years of age; and a High school graduate or GED. You must successfully complete an EMR course, and pass the NREMT exam. Then, apply online for initial Kansas EMS licenses. Contact the Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services to set up your online license portal.
